Strawberry basket

I think this is the fourth card I've done with an image from Beccy's Place.  (She has digital stamps for free.)  I actualy colored the images in a long time ago, but just finally was able to work on the card this weekend.   The image is alittle bigger than I was thinking, but it worked.  The little strawberries in front were printed seperately and then cut out.  I pop dotted them at different heights, don't know if you can see that on the picture.

Wishing big things your way

This cute little guy is a digital stamp by Maurie over at Mo's Digital Pencil.   Check her out here.   She has tons of great images in both Caucasian and African American.  There is something there for everyone.

I made this card for her challenge this week.   Make a card with paper piecing in it.  I love doing that, adds so much to a card, and even though I love to color with my Copics, it is nice to add color and design in a few minutes.  lol

Just Duckie

I love duckies, so when I found this image from Polly Craft, I couldn't resist getting it.  I decided to make it a Birthday card, but couldn't come up with a cute saying so the inside just says Happy Birthday.   It was colored in with Copics, of course.  lol

I Miss you Bear-y Much

I just love the digital images from Dustin Pike (Doodle Dragon Studios).   I recently got 233 more of his images!!  He was having a special on all the digital stamps from 2009 and so I snagged them.   They aren't on sale anymore, but you can still get the whole set of 233 images for $30.   Check him out here

When I saw this sad little bear, I thought it would make a great "Thinking of You" card.  Then I found the saying in my book of sentiments and the rest was history.   The inside was left blank.

In case you can't read the saying, it says:
I wouldn't mind being lonely
if you were there to
keep me company.

Purple and Yellow Anniversary Card

The digital image on this card is from. . . . . oh wait, there isn't a digital image on this card.  LOL!   There isn't an image on this card at all.   The paper is from Creative Memories, my mom's cousin sells it, and gave me this paper packet a couple years ago, just found it the other day.  (sorry Judy.)    The card was based on a sketch I found on Splitcoast Stampers, and the sentiment is by The Angel Company (TAC).   The purple circles are pop dotted and the wings on the butterflies are bent slightly to look like they are flying (thanks for the idea Melissa).

Garden tools Birthday Card

Here is a card with another image from Beccy's Place.   I was given some help with the colors for the pots.  I wanted that terra cotta pot look without too much trouble.  After a Copic color suggestion from someone on Splitcoast Stampers, I colored them in first with Y65 then colored in with E33.   The paper is the heavy weight cream from Papertrey Ink.

Fishy Anniversary

I love this digital stamp from Digi Sparkle, but I have to be honest, the more I look at the card, the more I am not liking it.   Sad I know.  I love the fish in orange, as goldfish are orange, but I am not liking the orange paper.  Maybe that is it, just the orange.   My mom likes it, so that is all that matters.  :)   I added the eyelashes to the lighter colored fish.

Floating by to say Happy Birthday

I got the idea for this card about 2 years ago, but never had the right stamp to use until I got the stamp set "Wonder and Joy" from The Angel Company.   You can see the whole stamp set here.   (Also check out the new TAC catalog for more sets that are part of this line!!)  The embossing was done with the Happy Birthday folder by Cuttlebug.  The stamp was colored in with Copic markers.  The ribbon was from Hobby Lobby.

Sneezy Elephant

This great digital stamp is from Digi Doodle Shop.  Right when I saw him, I thought he would make a great Get Well card.  My friend Melissa helped with the sentiment.  Thanks girl!!   Elephant was colored with Copic markers and the paper is an old Close to My Heart paper pack.

Doesn't it look like the sneeze hurts.  The detail on digital stamps is great, there are so many out there, and I get my hot little hands on as many as I can.  Well, as many free ones as I can.  :)

Party Animal - Turtle

Party animal and turtle, not 2 things that you would think would go together.  But they fit on this card.  This stamp is another one by Bugaboo stamps.  I love their stuff.  I just bought another mouse and a penquin, can't wait to play with them.   I designed this card with kids in mind, but it could work for anyone's birthday.   I had also wanted to have a pop up on the inside, but couldn't get my brain wrapped around how to do it with the card designed the way it was.  Next time, I'll try it again.

The paper is from Hobby Lobby, the cardstock is from CTMH, except for the base, don't remember where that is from.  And the digital stamp is colored with Copics (my new best friend!!).  The Happy Birthday stamp on the inside is by CTMH.
