I love mice, as my blog name implies. No, not the real ones that run around your house, but the cartoon ones that are very well behaved and only bring you flowers instead of "other" things!! This little cutie is a digital stamp from Bugaboo Stamps, they have different freebies each Friday, go check them out here. The flower is pop dotted, that is my new favorite thing to do on cards. It is extra work, but adds so much to the look. The inside of this card is blank, as it could be used for a birthday, get well, or thinking of you.

Bathtub Get Well card
I found the saying that is on the inside of the card in a book and then got this great digital stamp to go with it. The stamp can be found here. It was funny, I pictured this bathroom in old fashioned colors, which is where the teal and yellow came from (my least favorite colors!!), and it looked nice, but you won't believe how hard it was to find paper to match. (Thanks mom for raiding your paper stash). The above link for Bird's Cards also has digital stamps of just a tub, just the mirror and other great images.
Dad's Work Boots
This could have been a great father's day card, but I didn't get the image in time. I made it as a birthday card. The stamp is by Beccy's Place. Check back here soon for a card I am working on with another digi image by her. :o) These boots remind me of my dad's work boots.
Red Tulip - Thinking of You
This card was fun to make, mainly because I could really play with the Copic markers and blend the reds together. If you haven't tried Copic markers yet, you really should, they ROCK!! This is a digital stamp, but unfortunatly, I can't remember where I got it from. When I do figure that out, I'll update the name.
"Gummy" Worms Birthday Card
Nope that isn't a typo. They are gummy worms. Worms that are chewing gum. Where do you think all that used gum goes when people throw it out the car window? LOL This is a digital stamp from Doodle Pantry. Check them out here. I was thinking I should have made this card in blues for boys, they might get a kick out of this card more than girls will. But then again, my niece likes to get dirty, so I know she will think it is funny.

A few Cards
I love weekends where I get a lot done. Got several cards done, comforted my mom when she had to throw away some stuffed bears that had been damaged in storage, and even picked up a friend at the airport. Weekends are my favorite days of the week. :o)
This first card is for the handyman or woman. The stamp set is by Hanna stamps, purchased at a scrapbook store in Charles City, Iowa. (You should see their collection of Cricut cartridges!) The diamond plating on top is very thin metal that was embossed with the diamond plate folder by Cuttlebug. The screw is a brad, and the washers are real washers from the hardware store. After many tries, finally used glue dots cut down to adhere them to the card.
This card was created with a digital stamp from The Stamping Boutique. The head and antlers are pop dotted, and yes it was a lot of work. But worth it. He is so cute. I love my Copic markers. I'm getting quite a collection now (thanks to a certain someone!!).

Since I love Copic markers so much, I had to color another digital stamp. This little hedgehog is by Dustin Pike, his blog is here. After making this card I got hungry for s'mores. But since I don't camp or things like that, I don't have a chance to make any. (Making them in the microwave just isn't the same.) To those to camp, have a s'more or 2 for me. :o)
Another card colored with Copic markers. Since I have more than 11 now, I can really get into coloring. This digital stamp is a freebie by Beccy. Here is her blog. Yes, that is a real penny on there. Cheap embellishment, don't you think? LOL
And one last card. I love my 3 day weekends. My mom gave me the idea for this card. The stamp is Four Seasons by Close to My Heart, found here. The paper is part of the Creative Basics paper packet by Close to My Heart, called Veranda (in the Spring Catalog). The tag on the front was cut out by my Cricut with the George font. And I used 2 seperate pieces of satin ribbon.

Another Bear card made with a digital stamp
I made this card after seeing another card made very similar to it on Dustin Pike's blog (he is the artist who drew the bear). I love the dimensional look to it. It's making me want to do more like this. :)

Fishing Bear Card - Digital Stamp
I really love digital stamps and wish I had more time to play with all the ones I have. (I think I have about 180 now, majority of them are freebies!!). I also LOVE Copic markers. They are so nice for coloring. I rarely colored before because of how the markers looked and how they would wreck the paper if you colored too much. Not with Copic markers. :o)
This digital stamp is by Dustin Pike of Doodle Dragon Studios. His stuff is great. Check him out here. He just recently released a zoo set that is very cute, it has over 20 stamp images in it.
(The pail was colored with a silver glitter gel pen!! Thanks for the great idea, mom.)
