Snowman layout

Since it was recently 90 degrees here, I thought a snowman layout would help us feel a little cool.

Not the snowman you were thinking of?   :o)   This one is cuter.   My 2 year old nephew getting all dressed up for the holidays from a snowman kit.

Silly Birthday Card - House Mouse

I love mice.  Well, not the real live ones that run around in your cabinets and drawers, but the drawn/pretend kind.  :o)  (Thus the name of my blog).   I have done this card before, but revamped it last night with a new layout and an oldie but goodie embellishment.    I got the idea for this card from an old "Dollar store" card I found once, it had a fat little mouse laying down on the front next to a partially eaten cake and had the same saying.   I wanted to create my own verision of the card, so went searching the internet for a stamp that was similar.   I was very excited when I found this stamp from House Mouse.  They have great stuff.

Pink, Black, and White Card

Here is another card with the black and white coloring.   These cards have been fun to make.  I might try some more.  I wanted to do purple instead of pink, but I didn't have the right purple ink.   Might try yellow next.

What is Black, White, and Red all over?

My card.   Hahaha!!   Okay, so I'm not very funny, but I try.   At least I made myself laugh.

Anyway, here is card I did for a Black and White, and ???? card swap through SplitcoastStampers.    I have been wanting to use the larger ladybug stamp for awhile, but hadn't come up with the right card idea until now.   The little ladybugs are pop dotted and I think add a lot to the look of the card.  Those little buggers were a pain to cut out, but worth it.   (hehe, I crack myself up.)    Don't worry, I won't be quitting my day job anytime soon to try it on the comedy circuit.     Have a great day.

Another Digital Stamp card

As I was perusing SplitcoastStamper's website this weekend, I came across a digital stamp that I thought would be perfect for a Father's Day card.   I immediately found the digital stamp online at this great place.    And on Sunday afternoon proceeded to work on my card.   I did "stamp-lift" most of the card layout/idea from the card on Splitcoast, but that is what sharing inspiration is for.  :)
